The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, PBAT, Door-to-Door Movement, convened by High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has donated 25 operational vehicles to the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Taraba State as part of its grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The vehicles were formally handed over to APC leaders in Jalingo, the state capital, on Saturday to support the movement’s door-to-door campaign for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu, Governor Agbu Kefas and other APC candidates.

The development comes as political parties and support groups intensify their grassroots structures across Taraba ahead of the 2027 elections. The APC recently unveiled a 341-member Tinubu/Kefas campaign council with structures covering the state’s 16 local government areas and wards.

Representing Tompolo at the presentation, High Chief Kestin Pondi said the logistics support was aimed at strengthening polling-unit-level mobilisation and taking the campaign directly to communities across the state.

He urged Taraba residents to support the ruling party, arguing that continuity in government would enable Tinubu and Kefas to accelerate infrastructure development and economic transformation in the state.

Pondi said the movement would intensify its grassroots engagement and work towards establishing a strong mobilisation network across the state.

Responding, Governor Kefas assured residents that his administration would consolidate ongoing development projects and seek greater federal presence for Taraba if re-elected.

Kefas also said he was prepared to move across wards and local government areas to support the APC’s mobilisation efforts.

He said the state was moving in line with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope agenda and expressed readiness to work with party structures ahead of the election.

Earlier, the APC State Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Bawa, said the party had commenced intensive ward-level coordination and grassroots mobilisation across the 16 local government areas.

Bawa said the party was strengthening its structures ahead of the elections and would coordinate with support groups to reach voters at the grassroots.

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, founded and convened by Ekpemupolo, has been expanding its mobilisation activities across several states ahead of the 2027 election, including recent vehicle deployments in northern states.

The Taraba initiative is expected to take the movement’s campaign activities beyond Jalingo to communities, wards and polling units across the state.
