Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has forwarded the names of five nominees to the State House of Assembly for screening and possible appointment as commissioners.
The Speaker of the Assembly, Jibril Isma’ila Falgore, announced the nominees during plenary on Wednesday while reading out the governor’s letter.
The nominees are Hon. Ibrahim Namadi Dala, Hon. Muktar Ishaq Yakasai, Hon. Sani Lawan Manunfashi, Hon. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa and Hon. Idris Garba Mustapha.
The nominees are expected to undergo screening by the Assembly before any possible confirmation and appointment.
