Nestlé Nigeria has appointed Toritseju (Toju) Egbebi as its Corporate Communications and Sustainability Manager, effective November 1, 2026, following the retirement of Victoria Uwadoka after 10 years with the company.

Egbebi, who currently serves as Corporate Affairs Manager, brings 18 years of experience in public relations and corporate communications across the technology, financial services and consumer goods sectors.

Since joining Nestlé Nigeria, she has played a key role in strengthening the company’s corporate reputation, public affairs and stakeholder engagement.

Through the company’s Nestlé for Good platform, Egbebi has also helped improve public understanding of its investments in healthier nutrition, thriving communities and environmental sustainability, while strengthening strategic relationships with the media and other stakeholders.

Her appointment follows Uwadoka’s decade-long contribution to Nestlé Nigeria, during which she played a central role in advancing the company’s corporate reputation, stakeholder relationships and Creating Shared Value agenda.

Under her leadership, the company’s communications and sustainability priorities advanced across nutrition, youth empowerment, agriculture, water stewardship, environmental responsibility and community development.

Uwadoka also championed employee engagement and helped translate complex corporate and sustainability initiatives into clear, credible messages aimed at building public understanding and trust.

Beyond her corporate responsibilities, she contributed to the development of Nigeria’s communications profession through industry leadership, advocacy and mentorship, promoting strategic communications as a driver of business growth and societal progress.

Commenting on the transition, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé Nigeria, Wassim Elhusseini, expressed appreciation for Uwadoka’s contributions and confidence in Egbebi’s ability to lead the function.

“Victoria has made an important contribution to Nestlé Nigeria over the past decade, and we are deeply grateful for the leadership, professionalism and commitment she has brought to our business and the communications profession. We wish her every success in this next chapter,” he said.
